奖学金

学生 with a declared major in the 理学院 may apply for all available 奖学金通过 菠菜网lol正规平台斯巴达奖学金 (菠菜网lol正规平台 Academicworks应用).

The 理学院 奖学金 open from March 15th - April 15th.

The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office (FASO) will be hosting scholarship workshops that provide an overview of the Spartan Scholarship Application and help answer any questions you may have with the application 过程. 访问 FASO website for more information about the workshops.

• 校友会 Scholarship

  • Open to graduate and undergraduate students in the 理学院 with overall 3.平均绩点0或更高. Applicants must demonstrate community service and/or participate 在学生组织中. Award applied equally to the student’s account for Fall and Spring and is conditional on full-time enrollment each term. 奖学金获得者 will be asked to attend the 校友会 Scholarship Reception in the Fall. 

• 阿基米德奖学金

  • A 一个 time scholarship awarded to a student who show exemplary promise as a scientist. Scholar will be selected from an on-campus unit of the 理学院 in 一个 year and from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories in the alternate year. 收件人将 be known as the Archimedes Scholar for that academic year.

    This year we will be accepting applicants who are undergraduate or graduate students majoring in 一个 of the following departments: Biological 科学s, Chemistry, Computer 科学, Geology, Mathematics & 统计数据、气象 & 气候科学、物理 & 天文学.

• Claudia Greathead Scholarship Endowment for 科学

  • A 一个 time scholarship awarded to undergraduate students who are matriculated, full-time and are in good academic standing. 学生必须有 a declared major in the College 科学.

    1. Have completed the FAFSA or CA Dream Act

    3. 累积绩点3.0

• Davison President’s Scholar Endowment

  • This is four-year full academic scholarship to cover fees for entering first-year students who declared major in Biology (any concentration) or Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry and are National Merit Scholars, National Merit Scholar Finalists and High School Valedictorians. Recipients must be California residents and demonstrate a strong record of leadership and service in their high schools and communities.

    Additional scholarships will be available for students with minimum GPA of  3.75.

• Herbert and Nell Richards Scholarship

  • This is intend to provide four-year full academic scholarship to deserving, matriculated, full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. 学生必须有 a declared major in the College 科学.

  • This is four-year full academic scholarship that provide to a student in Mathematics, Computer 科学 or the Physical 科学s. 奖学金获得者 are recommended, but will not be required, to be National Merit Scholars, National Merit Scholar finalists 或高中毕业生代表. They are required to have a cumulative GPA 3.75年,必须 be California residents for tuition purposes and demonstrate a strong record in leadership and service in their high schools and communities.

    Preference for incoming freshman who are first generation college students or students who have been successful in their freshman year.

• 科学 教育 Scholarship Fund

  • This scholarship is for students in 科学 Single Subject Credential Program.

     

• Susan Barling-Frye Memorial Scholarship

  • The Susan Barling-Frye Memorial Scholarship was established to provide scholarships for students in the 理学院 teaching credential program. 颁发奖项 (if possible) to a single parent pursuing a teaching credential. 给予第二优先 to student in the prep to teach in the Department of Biological 科学s.
